What to Bring

Chacos

We've taken Chacos on every kind of hike imaginable, and haven't been let down. These sandals are great for any type of terrain, and we especially love wearing them when we know we'll be walking through water.

Hiking Boots

Forsake "sneakerboots" are our favorite hiking shoes. They are waterproof and breathable, super comfortable, and provide great ankle support and stability without restricting motion.

Water Bottles

We've tried all kinds of water bottles, but the CamelBak Eddy is our favorite. They don't leak or spill, easy to open and close, and easy to clean. Plus, in our experience, they are virtually indestructible!

Trekking Poles

When hiking where there are a lot of elevation changes, or in places with uneven ground, trekking poles can help you keep your footing and reduce fatigue. We recommend bringing some when visiting this location.
