On our last day in Emery County, we decided to take the RZRs and 4-Wheelers (of course we rented them from Big Mountain Lodge) out for a ride. Some of us went for a ride (see the post here) while the rest of us made it a beach day at Millsite State Park.
Just outside of the main park entrance you can take the dirt road to camp or find yourself on the beach. We parked #BAYMAXTHEVAN right along the shore (don't get too close and don't go through the mud) and set up camp right there!
Lisa had brought along her two kid Lifetime Kayaks and Chamaine brought along the paddleboard. The kids literally spent the entire 3 hours playing on the water.
We made sure that any kid on a watercraft had their life jacket on.
The views of Millsite were unreal that day. There wasn't a SINGLE boat on the water for hours. I love the desert background.
This is my kind of scene.
I put out my sunshade, Yeti cooler, camp chairs, and actually pulled out a book. I'm not even sure the last time I read a book in public.
While the other part of the crew cruised around on the dirt hills, we literally had our own slice of heaven right here.
We even found a man-made raft and it actually floated!
I threw out my fishing line in hopes of catching something. No bites, but I wasn't really trying since I had children running ALL over.
We were there on a Sunday for 4 hours and saw 2 jetskis, 2 paddleboarders and one sailboat, to say it was perfect is an understatement.
There are plenty of ATV trails right next to shore too! We would take the kids for short rides around the lake.
Can you find the tiny #BAYMAXTHEVAN?
The shore was rocky, flat rocks, and I'd take that any day over sand!
Thanks to this awesome crew, we had the best time. It was our first trip together it went off without a hitch!
