Mammoth Cave near Duck Creek is such a cool place to explore. Even though it's blazing hot above, once you get under the ground, it's always cool.

Bring good shoes and headlamps, or even your phones. If you want to climb all the way through the caves, you'll want your hand free to belly crawl in some places.

There are multiple entrances into Mammoth Cave, many of them are closed off because of COVID19 and because of hibernating bats.

We did have one bat fly by!

We've been visiting Mammoth Cave for years and it's still super fun to explore.

There's one tunnel that you have to crawl on your belly to get out the other side.

There's some large cavities where you can stand up.

It's kind of crazy watching kids literally climb out of the earth, like bugs.

The caves are relatively safe, as in there aren't many places to get lost, but don't crawl through if you don't think you'll fit.

Have you been to Mammoth Cave?
