We’ve driven out to Spiral Jetty and Golden Spike National Monument numerous times and somehow...we’ve driven right by Chinese Arch. Who knew there was SUCH a cool Arch just around the bend? It’s a small arch and was named after the Chinese workers who laid the tracks of the Transcontinental Railroad.

You can either hike .9 miles to the arch from the parking lot...or you can park right next to the arch and walk the few steps to the actual arch. We chose to drive to it. It was early March, so it was still fairly cool. The kids thought it was SUPER cool to be so close to an arch.

We spent about an hour exploring around the arch and even found a few caves. I’ve heard there can be lots of rattlesnakes so beware!
